Diagnostic Imaging Services

Dr. Banas

Services

You want the best, least radical or invasive solution to your medical condition, provided as close to home as possible. We aim to provide it.

With the latest in high quality imaging equipment and services, we are able, through interventional radiology, to offer referring physicians and their patients a host of new treatment options for a wide range of medical problems.

Utilizing our expertise in imaging modalities such as x-rays and fluoroscopy, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, and computed tomography, we can often provide minimally invasive, targeted treatments performed under imaging guidance. This is often done percutaneously (through the skin) and can replace more radical, open surgical procedures.

Interventional Radiology vs. Alternative Methods

When compared to the alternatives, interventional radiology will usually provide:

  • More accurate and complete diagnosis
  • Easier and better outcome for the patient
  • Less risk
  • Less pain (general anesthesia provided)
  • Quicker recovery
  • Shorter or no hospital stay
  • Lower cost

Developments in this area of medicine are rapid and far-reaching. This often makes it difficult to keep abreast of what's available, especially locally. As always, we are committed to providing personnel with the experience, training, and track record to provide patients with the advanced care they deserve.
